Apartment hallway interior design, Jelgava district.

The hallway was dark even with light-colored walls (the walls were almost white, but they looked gray under artificial light). There were no windows, a huge built-in closet that was rarely used for its intended purpose, and a storage room filled with fireplace paper. The area was 5m2.

The goal was to make the hallway a beautiful and open space; to functionally store clothes, shoes, bedding, and various household items; and to add a freezer; to install a full-length mirror; and to change the flooring from tile to something soft.

Solutions: to create a jungle-themed hallway; it has a lot of functionality, but everything is hidden and disguised. Paint the hallway one color—walls and ceiling—this visually removes the feeling of confinement; make the front door mirrored on the inside; paint the bathroom doors and furniture the same color as the walls; make the freezer a darker, accent color, using glossy paint, thus turning it into an art object. Also, apply decorative solutions—artistic Wall painting and 3D wallpaper in the form of slats. The flooring will be artificial grass. The electrical outlets will be painted copper.

The project is currently under development. Estimated completion date is April 2026 (total time: 3 months).
